I have used Fodey.com when I teach dialogue, especially for grade two. It has several appropriate cartoons that can be linked to from http://www.fodey.com/generators/animated/talking_owl.asp.

I am a vocal music teacher at North Tama School in Traer, Iowa and an adjunct technology instructor at Upper Iowa University-Waterloo Center.

I had heard of Thinkfinity, but hadn't really checked it out. I am a huge fan of the FableVision company and founder Peter H. Reynolds is a literacy leader with the Verizon Foundation. There were a lot of activities at NECC that had to do with Thinkfinity. I also heard a lot of comments around the FableVision booth about how great it is!

I have checked looked at the website and will be doing more as the weeks go on.
